The Pre-consult

We'll talk in person or on the phone about your goals and ideas. It's important to me to find out exactly what you're looking for in a portrait session so I can focus on your priorities. We can chat about outfits, print products, gallery walls, prior photo session experiences, and of course, tell me which one's your good side :)

Your Session

A typical session begins with the most formal portraits-- everyone smiling and looking at the camera. Once we've got those, we walk and talk and relax so I can capture you as your most genuine selves. I love to laugh and joke, and I have games and prompts in my arsenal guaranteed to make even the most reluctant participant smile. Our session will be relaxed, spontaneous, and most of all, FUN.

The Big reveal

A couple weeks after your portraits, we'll meet for the image reveal and ordering session! It is so gratifying to me to see your reaction to your images and I love helping you choose which ones you want to treasure forever. You'll get to see my product samples in person so you know exactly what you're ordering and how it feels in your hands.
